JAMESTOWN, ND (Unison Bank) – Unison Bank has announced that Mary Voigt is the organization’s June 2022 Artist of the Month.

Each month, Unison Bank features local artists, photographers, quilters and designers, and their products or services. Since 2013, they have welcomed 95 artisans.

Voigt, owner and photographer at Mary Voigt Photography, exhibited portraits in the lobby of Unison Bank in Jamestown, ND Voigt creates various types of art including digital painting, fine art drawings, landscape and anything she captures through the lens of her camera. She captures photography for weddings, high school seniors, families, children and infants, pets, sports, passport portraits, events and businesses.

“I love trying new things and offering something different than what other photographers might be doing,” Voigt said. “I love my work. Every image is different and tells a different story. Creating art through the lens is a journey, not just a destination.

Voigt has been in business for over two decades. She’s always created a new vision or wanted to capture new pieces, but it’s only in the last decade that she’s started creating visually more unique images.

When Voigt isn’t behind her camera lens, she can be found at her studio, Voigt Photography Studio – located north of Jamestown. It offers photo laboratory work including prints on metals, canvas and several types of wood, as well as photo restoration. Voigt also spends time with her three children, rides horses or goes on outdoor adventures.

“The Jamestown community is extremely rich in uniquely talented individuals,” said Kelly Rachel, President and CEO of Unison Bank. “We are delighted to welcome these artists and help showcase their talents.
