CHAMBER PRESS RELEASE

Los Alamos photographer Samantha D’Anna is launching a new creative space at Los Alamos! Please join us in the studio as the Chamber of Commerce celebrates this new venture with a grand opening Friday, July 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a ribbon cutting at 5:15 p.m. Muse Studio & Creative Space is located at 1247 Central Avenue, upstairs in Suite 213.

Muse Studio & Creative Space is an open-concept space with vibrant natural light, intended for use by all creatives. Anyone can rent the studio, but it is primarily for photographers. There are chairs, stools, a 7 x 8 foot backdrop with two changing colors on it (currently Terra Cotta and sage blue/green), rolled photo paper, fabric backdrops, studio lights , accessories, plants, etc.

The space can also be used for classes, workshops or meetings for adults, small creative gatherings of up to 20 people and much more! There are so many ways to have fun with this space. Get inspired, try something new, think outside the box, that’s what this space is for! It is available for hire by the hour, half day or day.

Originally from Los Alamos, D’Anna worked as a professional photographer locally for over 10 years and ran her own studio for two years. “I’m really excited about this new space and how it can be used by so many photographers and creatives of all kinds. I know it’s hard for every company to have their own space, so I thought it would be a good way to have a shared space for everyone,” D’Anna said.

Ribbon cuttings are a benefit of being a member of the Los Alamos Chamber. For more information on Chamber membership, please visit www.losalamoschamber.com or contact Ryn Herrmann at (505) 661-4807, or Sam McRae at (505) 661-4816.
