Liverpool academy striker Fidel O’Rourke has signed a contract extension at Anfield.
And many Reds players, including Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, congratulated him on the news.
O’Rourke, who plays for Liverpool Under-23s, has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with the club.
Liverpool confirmed the news on their website and social.

O’Rourke joined the Reds’ academy setup as an under-14 player and rose through the ranks.
The 20-year-old signed his first professional contract in 2020, and it was extended for the first time in May last year.
O’Rourke is a childhood Liverpool fan and also captained the club’s Under-18 team.
He was part of the young Reds side that won the FA Youth Cup in 2019.
So far this season, O’Rourke has made eight Premier League 2 appearances.
He scored his first goal of the campaign in the 7-1 win over Tottenham last month.
O’Rourke took to Instagram after the news, sharing a photo of him signing the contract.
He also wrote the caption ‘proud to sign a new contract’, tagging the Liverpool page.
