Country music superstar Luke Bryan performed his Raised Up Right Tour at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday night with opening acts Mitchell Tenpenny and Riley Green.
Bryan opened the show with a special guest, bringing on stage current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who tossed merchandise to the crowd and encouraged them to vote Nov. 8. DeSantis also spoke about the impact of Hurricane Ian which left many Floridians without their homes last month.
All money earned from his shows in Florida will be donated to the Florida Disaster Fund to help hurricane victims, Bryan said.
On Sunday, the Florida Gators take on the Georgia Bulldogs in Jacksonville and Bryan had a special gift for DeSantis, a Brock Bowers University football jersey from Georgia. Bryan, a Georgia Bulldogs fan, spent most of the night taunting the Florida crowd.
With a setlist of over 21 songs, Bryan showed the crowd why he’s one of the hottest country artists right now by singing every song he’s performed verbatim. Click through Spinnaker photographer Justin Nedrow’s gallery of the night below:
