Jared Polin from FroKnowsPhoto is a Philadelphia-based YouTuber with over a million followers. On the channel, Polin uses his extensive photography experience to create “fun and informative” videos on the subject. As part of a new Apple “Dream Studio Makeover” project, Polin was able to change the life of a promising young creative.

Recently, Apple reached out to the YouTuber in hopes of giving a “Dream Studio Makeover” to a young creative who doesn’t have access to the right equipment; the company’s goal is to help a promising professional gain access to some of the latest equipment. Although he had no design in mind, Polin enlisted the help of his friend and fellow photographer from Philadelphia, Zamani. Zamani works with many young photographers/videographers and has recommended rising star Cam Blumberg from @cam_videos on Instagram.

In order to perform the “Dream Studio Makeover”, Polin brought Cam to the FroKnowsPhoto studio for a “tour”. As a FroKnowsPhoto follower and fellow Philadelphia native, Cam said yes to the studio tour. Cam had no idea what would happen as he thought the tour would turn into a video to give him promotion for his work.

Cam primarily shoots basketball and is working on getting into music videos and documentaries. He was doing his editing work on a 2018 MacBook Pro and was struggling to get by. Not only was his MacBook running out of internal storage, but the screen would often crash.

Items Cam received as part of the makeover include: Mac Studio, Studio Display, and 14-inch MacBook Pro M1 Max. He also received an iPhone 13 Pro Max, a HomePod Mini and various accessories. All it got is the latest model among Apple’s lineups.

The 9to5Mac take

The end of the video features Cam’s studio before and after the makeover. Her space breathes new life into her now after the makeover. Previously working on an older laptop, Cam now has a wealth of elements to amplify his creative work.

This video is heartwarming because it’s nice to see young creatives getting the chance to do what they love. Hopefully Apple will reach out to more YouTubers in the future to give others the chance to experience a studio makeover. If you’re in the mood for more wellness videos involving Apple products, I recommend checking out It was epic’his YouTube channel. They often post engaging videos offering free Apple devices like MacBooks and AirPods.

What do you think of the results of the “Dream Studio Makeover”?
